I felt like doing a concept based around the shape of an anvil. So I made a little creature who's food source is probably little rodents and such, and like an armedillo, has formed a huge spike on its head to fend off predators. This took about 3 hours from start to finish. Done with prismacolor markers and black pen at first then photoshop cs 1 for digital painting. Any crits and thoughts are most welcome and appreciated.

Also, I have been getting a lot of emails from fellow artists about tips and things that I might know about digital painting. So I am trying to keep tabs on all my paintings that I can, so I am going to post a small step by step with my pics from now on in case anyone cares to see my process.
